ミッドナイト・イーグル
元戦場カメラマンの西崎優二。数多くの戦争写真を撮り続けていた彼が、取材中に起きたある出来事によって報道写真では何も変える事が出来ないという無力感にさいなまれ、一線を去る事になってしまう。日本へ帰国後、妻子をかえりみず、報道カメラマンとしての意欲をも失せてしまい病魔に冒され余命いくばくかもない妻を看病することなく、一人山にこもり、山岳写真や夜景写真を撮ってすごしていた。そんなある日の未明、光を放ちながら見岳沢に墜落していく謎の飛行物体を目撃しカメラに収める。
