赤城俊平（重岡大毅）は、ある事情で３カ月前にシングルファーザーになったばかり。５歳の息子・陽（佐藤遙灯）を育てながら、児童図書を扱う小さな出版社「エッグプラント」に勤め、育児と仕事に追われる日々を過ごしていた。そんな中、幼なじみの小山内蒼介（仲野太賀）と偶然再会。ワンオペ育児に悩む俊平の事情を知った蒼介は、SNSで家族を募集し、子育てをシェアして一緒に暮らそうと、とっぴな提案をする。そんな募集に誰も乗るわけがないと呆れる俊平だったが、その夜、蒼介の携帯に１本の電話が…。かけてきたのは、５歳の娘・雫（宮崎莉里沙）を育てるシングルマザーの教師・桃田礼（木村文乃）だった。さらに、夢を追い続ける子持ちシンガーソングライター・横瀬めいく（岸井ゆきの）も６歳の息子・大地（三浦綺羅）と共に転がり込んできて…。
