めいく（岸井ゆきの）と大地（三浦綺羅）親子が暮らし始めて、にぎやかになった“にじや”。なんだかんだ言いつつも、俊平（重岡大毅）と礼（木村文乃）も頻繁に“にじや”に顔を出すようになっていた。蒼介（仲野太賀）は、俊平と礼に、改めて「ここで一緒に暮らそう」と提案！しかし、礼は「誰にも頼りたくない」と蒼介の申し出をあっさり却下。一方の俊平も、妻・みどり（山本美月）と一緒に住んでいた家を引き払う気にはなれず、“にじや”に住むことをためらっていた。そして、みどりが亡くなったという事実を、息子・陽（佐藤遙灯）に伝えることができず、俊平は思い悩んでいた。そんな俊平の思いを汲み取った“にじや”の面々は、お節介な蒼介を筆頭に、それぞれの方法で俊平に寄り添うことに。“家族”の優しさに背中を押され、俊平は陽に向き合おうと心に決めるが…。
